How did WBP start?
Writer’s Block Party is run by a critique partner group. We all met at different stages of the writing/publishing journey–through various forums as well as through one another–and slowly became friends. WBP stemmed from many conversations we were already having about craft and publishing, and we realized we could share our experiences with a wider audience.
Can I join WBP as a contributor? As a critique partner?
Thank you so much for your interest! Unfortunately, we are not adding any contributors or critique partners at this time.
I’d like to contribute a guest post. How can I do that?
Right now we are not accepting any unsolicited guest posts or interviews. If we did a call for guest posts it would happen via our Twitter page.
Do you have any tips for finding critique partners?
Yes! We actually hosted a critique partner match up here. We also mentioned some additional resources for finding critique partners (including how the members of WBP found each other!) in this roundtable post. Good luck!
Do you offer editorial services?
We do not currently provide any editorial services. However, every so often, WBP members may offer critique giveaways or serve as mentors in writing mentorship programs. In those cases, we will share any relevant information through Twitter.
How can I get in touch with members of WBP?
Yay, we’d love to hear from you! We have a contact form here that you can use. You can also contact us via the official WBP Twitter. If you’d like to get in touch with a specific member of WBP, please use the links provided in our bios.
Where can I find a list of WBP books?
