With a year like 2020, our annual End of the Year Wrap Up feels especially important. I hope you’ve been looking forward to this post as much as I have. I’ve desperately needed a reminder of all of the good things that have happened over the past twelve months. Looking to my closest writing friends certainly helps me see that despite everything, we’re still here, our voices matter, and our words remain.
Before I shout the praises of the WBP CP Group, I want to emphasize this. Whether you’ve written/revised 100 words or 100,000 words this year, your words are on a page, in a notebook, on a laptop, in a CP/agent/editor’s inbox, on a bookshelf and they remain. They exist.
If you’ve written 0 words this year, you’re still a writer and may the words greet you in the new year. You, like me, have survived 2020 and that accomplishment is enough. If you’re interested in a retrospective to encourage you as you prepare yourself for new words on the page in the new year, we’re here for you. Let’s begin.
