The complex and intricate relationships all stood out to me. I loved how each character interacted with each other. Jaewon’s struggle with figuring out what he stood for and how to cope with what he saw as his father and best-friend’s past betrayals broke my heart. And it shaped who he was as he interacted with the strong and closed off Tera, the sweet and broken Ama, and (my favorite) the cocky and impulsive Alex. These characters swept me into a world of complicated emotions and decisions. – Kat

REBEL SEOUL so delivers on everything promised. Badass robots. Cool futuristic tech. Covert military projects. It really is Pacific Rim x K-Drama. But this book is truly incredible because of its heart: the characters, crafted by their beautiful, brutal world. Every character is so complex and complicated, and every relationship so nuanced and heartfelt and REAL.
